Apple Creek United Methodist
website maintenance, Dan Dalrymple.

May 12th, 2011.

Hello, I'm Dan Dalrymple. I've maintained the Apple Creek United Methodist website since it was started in 2006. This website is maintained under the guidance of our church Council and the Apple Creek United Methodist Church office. Many members and friends furnish photos and articles for our website. Thanks  to everyone who helps.

Pastor Karen Oehl wanted to start a website for our Apple Creek United Methodist Church in 2005.  However, our ACUMC website was not started until shortly after she was transferred to the Brecksville UMC in 2006. Note: Bishop John L. Hopkins announces the appointment of Rev. Karen Oehl as the District Superintendent of the Mid-Ohio District effective July 1, 2011.Rev. Oehl was completing her fifth year as senior pastor at Brecksville United Methodist Church (North Coast District).

Since our ACUMC website began, more than 8000 users have logged on. Our church news is read throughout the 50 states. Our friends and neighbors from the Apple Creek Ohio area can read our ACUM Church news from anywhere in the world. Our missionaries in Africa can get our church news and updates at the same time it's posted.

Not only is Christian fellowship in a local church good for our emotional health, it is essential to our Christian commitment. As Christians, we are to encourage one another, comfort one another, and bear one anotherís burdens. We really need each other. God wants us to fellowship both with Him and individually with other believers. Try to attend a Christian church service of your choice this week.

In 2009 we went "green" and stopped mailing our monthly newsletter. We began posting it on our website (in full color). We offer printed copies in our sanctuary for our church families that don't have internet access. Our monthly newsletter is hand delivered to shut-ins. This saves us hundreds of dollars each year in postage. We also went through a boat-load of paper, which increased our costs by increasing our copier usage. Each month we ran the newsletter it put 2,500 copies on our copier. (See note at bottom of our NEWSLETTER page.)

Add our Apple Creek United Methodist Church website to your favorites, visit us often. Many of our pages are upgraded daily. If you have internet access and wish to receive our monthly ACUMC newsletter emails, please send your email address to Dan Dalrymple at
